The position is part-time with weekend shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and paid training at the state minimum wage where allowed. Applicants must meet licensing requirements and be able to obtain the ASRB license and pistol permit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Alabama Security Regulatory Board license preferred; ability to obtain pistol permit and related licenses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walking patrols to ensure site safety and identify potential security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and credentials.
• Enforce client and SEI security procedures and site rules.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Perform routine security tasks including locking/unlocking doors and operating security equipment.
• Assist employees and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
