Allied Universal in Ohio, OH is seeking a Weekend Armed Driver Security Officer to protect clients across various industries. This part-time role involves driving, patrolling, and maintaining a visible security presence on the job site.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, documenting incidents, and coordinating with emergency responders when needed. The position requires a valid armed guard card, a driver’s license, and ≥2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transportation personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of rail yards, facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with appropriate emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
