Granite Hills Hospital invites applications for a Weekend Admissions RN to join the Intake/Admissions team. The role involves coordinating referrals, conducting clinical assessments, and guiding patients through admission with collaboration from physicians, families, and staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Wisconsin RN license, CPR certification, and 3+ years of psychiatric healthcare experience, with CPI training within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification and CPI/Service Excellence training within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiry calls, referrals, and crisis behavioral health patient needs.
• Review referrals and complete clinical and suicide assessments; coordinate with physicians to admission.
• Verify insurance and handle prior authorization as needed; document admissions in the system.
• Coordinate referral and intake processes, maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients and staff.
