Unified Defense is seeking an HR & Safety Specialist to provide on-site HR, safety, and administrative support for weekend and second-shift operations in Byron, GA. You will serve as the first point of contact for routine HR questions and safety concerns, document incidents, and escalate complex matters to the HR Manager.

The role emphasizes conduct of safety observations, incident reporting, and coordination with supervisors to ensure workplace safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in HR, safety, or employee relations is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site HR, safety, and administrative support for weekend and second-shift operations.
• Respond to routine HR questions and document employee concerns.
• Conduct safety observations and audits, escalate serious issues to HR/Safety leadership.
• Assist with onboarding, paperwork, and routine HR processes.
