Job description

As a Weekend Fabrication Painter, you will operate and maintain fabrication equipment used in producing high-quality refrigeration products. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including a 5% employer match on 6% employee contribution to 401(k), a pay progression review after 3 months, holiday pay, up to 40 hours of paid vacation in the first year, and health insurance starting the month after hire. Additionally, earn a monthly production bonus of up to one dollar for each hour worked in a month upon reaching production targets.

One Shift Available:
  • Friday through Sunday, 5:00 am to 5:30 pm (12-hour shifts)

No experience required – training provided! Experienced operators may be eligible for up to $17.50 per hour with 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and report safety hazards or concerns.
  2. Perform painting tasks using knowledge of wet or powder paint applications, including mixing paints, checking viscosity, and applying paint with a spray gun.
  3. Prepare surfaces for painting through washing, cleaning, taping, and hanging.
  4. Follow work orders or instructions to prepare parts, place them in ovens, and set appropriate temperatures and times.
  5. Inspect parts after oven processing for quality and readiness for assembly.
  6. Lift objects up to 50 pounds.
  7. Stand for extended periods during shifts.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in fabrication painting is a plus but not required.
  • Strong safety awareness and mindfulness.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Basic reading skills for understanding work-related documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Environment: Noisy, with varying temperatures depending on the season.
