Job summary

Pet Food Experts is seeking a Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Associate to perform preventive and routine maintenance across the distribution center, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the facility, grounds, and equipment. The role involves carpentry, electrical, plumbing, locksmith and mechanical tasks, with emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of building maintenance experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools used in warehouse maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and incident reporting.
• Ability to read blueprints or assembly instructions and follow them.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and general maintenance on the facility, grounds, and equipment.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and basic building trades (carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith).
• Troubleshoot and service equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect systems and equipment; maintain records and reports.
• Order supplies and coordinate with vendors for maintenance projects.
• Build or dismantle warehouse racking and manage exterior maintenance tasks.
