Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Maine state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• ASHA certification or eligibility preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs and goals.
• Provide skilled speech-language therapy and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and recommendations.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in care planning and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
