Job summary

Surgery Center of Boerne is seeking a Full Time RN PreOp/PACU to provide comprehensive nursing care in a multi‑specialty ambulatory setting. The role emphasizes patient safety, continuity of care, and coordination with anesthesia and surgical teams.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, sedation support as needed, and ensuring smooth recovery from anesthesia while preparing patients for discharge. Requires valid Texas RN license and PACU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program and active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if center requires.
• 2 years PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Able to make nursing judgments and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with sedation and sterile technique.
• Care for patients emerging from anesthesia; plan and evaluate for discharge.
