Job summary

IU Health in Indiana is seeking an RN for a Float position with a Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule, no weekends or holidays. This role supports Metro Ambulatory locations across Primary Care and Specialty clinics and offers flexible assignments.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.
• Ability to assess patients with or without face-to-face interaction.
• Understanding of legal implications of patient care activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth patient flow and assist with examination procedures.
• Collect patient information and perform general lab work.
• Provide patient education and clerical support.
• Complete triage duties across diverse clinic settings.
