Job summary

Beacon Mobility in Maple Grove, MN is hiring for a Transit Team role to safely operate a Metro Mobility vehicle and provide exceptional passenger service. The position requires a Minnesota driver\'s license and the ability to assist riders, follow routes, and perform safety inspections.

Training is provided, with opportunities for growth. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 1:00PM to 9:00PM, with paid holidays, PTO, and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Minnesota driver\'s license with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Safe and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to pass a background check and 5-panel drug screen.
• Ability to complete and pass a DOT physical.
• Familiarity with the Twin Cities metro area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Metro Mobility vehicle.
• Provide outstanding customer service to passengers.
• Assist riders entering and exiting the vehicle when needed.
• Secure mobility devices and wheelchairs safely.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all passengers.
