Job summary

Texan Surgery Center in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (Circulator) to support 3 OR rooms with outpatient ophthalmology procedures.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, prepping and circulating during cases; weekday schedule only, no holidays or weekends, some early mornings or late evenings as needed.

Minimum 1 year circulating nurse experience, valid Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and strong nursing judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Texan Surgery Center is hiring an Operating Room Nurse

Welcome to Texan Surgery Center

We have 3 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Ophthalmology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Texan Surgery Center

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: if applicable.
