Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Orlando, FL seeks an Acute Care Surgeon to work as a wound care physician leading wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. Enjoy a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with full- or part-time options and competitive compensation.

Full-time earnings range from $250,000 to $500,000 per year, with potential for $500,000+ through bonuses. Medical degree and unrestricted license required, with comprehensive wound care training provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligible to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligible to obtain one.
• Open background: physicians of all backgrounds welcome; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, following patients through healing.
