Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans is seeking an outpatient clinic team member to support patients and the care team. The role offers a stable, weekday schedule with no weekends and a 8:00 AM–5:00 PM shift, in a busy clinic setting.

You will welcome patients, assist with rooming, documentation in the EMR, scheduling, and HIPAA-compliant handling of records. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with general medical terminology and patient records.
• Ability to document in the EMR accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist throughout their clinic visit.
• Document vital signs and coordinate with nursing providers as needed.
• Assist with scheduling and follow-up appointments.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.
• Enter and coordinate information in the EMR and with external records.
