Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a PRN outpatient clinic support role in Louisiana with a traditional 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daytime schedule and no weekend work. You will assist patients and the care team, document vital signs, and help with scheduling and patient flow in a collaborative clinical environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED or two years of work experience, and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Position supports patients and clinic operations with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Must understand privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Ability to document and communicate clearly with patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assist throughout the clinic visit.
• Measure and document vital signs and report abnormal findings.
• Assist with scheduling new and follow-up appointments.
• Support patient check-in and check-out processes for a smooth visit.
• Identify urgent situations and follow procedures for escalation.
• Prepare, clean, disinfect and maintain clinic rooms and equipment.
• Stock rooms and manage clinical supplies and linens.
• Collect, prepare and secure laboratory specimens as needed.
