Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Northampton, MA. The role covers diverse cases in a hospital setting with regional anesthesia responsibilities and blocks, including pediatric blocks, under Epic EMR.

The candidate must be Board Certified in Anesthesiology with an active MA license and MA DEA; BLS/ACLS and ABA certifications are preferred. Weekly commitment is 3 weeks minimum, Monday–Friday, 7a–3p, for the coverage period.

Qualifications

• Active MA license required.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology required.
• MA DEA license required.
• BLS, ACLS, ABA certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent anesthesia care for surgical and endoscopic procedures.
• Manage cases across general, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and endoscopy.
• Perform regional anesthesia and pediatric blocks as needed.
• Ensure reliable coverage with minimum 3 weeks per month commitment.
• Work full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 7a-3p.
