Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 31-week locum tenens assignment in Northampton, Massachusetts. Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Mon-Fri, with potential for extension.

Position requires independent practice in OR and Endoscopy, regional anesthesia skills preferred, and Massachusetts licensure/DEA. Epic EMR, BLS/ACLS, and ABA certification (or eligible) expected.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts medical license and Massachusetts DEA registration.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology (ABA) or eligible.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant anesthesia experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a minimum commitment of 3 weeks per month.
• Practice independently without supervision in the OR or Endoscopy settings.
• Perform anesthesia for general, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and healthy pediatric cases.
• Apply regional anesthesia skills (strongly preferred).
• Manage 16 to 20 endoscopy cases per day when assigned to Endoscopy.
• Perform a variety of nerve blocks, including pediatric blocks.
• Provide anesthesia care for adult and healthy pediatric patient populations.
• Utilize Epic as the electronic medical records and charting system.

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Northampton, Massachusetts. These positions are 31-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for an Anesthesiologist:

• Work full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a minimum commitment of 3 weeks per month
