Job summary

Chicago Derm seeks an MD or DO, board-certified in Internal Medicine, for outpatient internal medicine locum coverage in Illinois. The position features no on-call requirements and a weekday schedule centered on Medicare-heavy primary care.

Fast credentialing is available with a start around late November and a minimum commitment of three months. NP/MA/scribe and RN support are provided to help manage a busy but steady clinic workflow.

Qualifications

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Active Illinois license required; facility will not wait for licensure.
• DEA required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient internal medicine care for a Medicare-age population.
• Manage chronic conditions: diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia; monitor CHF/CAD as appropriate.
• Coordinate with nurse practitioners, medical assistants, scribes and RNs for clinic workflow.
• No on-call; Monday–Friday 8am–5pm; outpatient-only schedule.
