Job summary

Curative is seeking an MD or DO for outpatient Internal Medicine locum coverage in Illinois. This assignment features no call, a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, a Medicare-heavy primary care panel, and fast credentialing with a 3-month minimum commitment.

You will work with NP/MA and scribe support, see 16 to 18 patients per day, and begin as soon as licensure and DEA are in place (start date around 2026-11-23). Illinois license is required; facility will not wait for licensure.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine required.
• Active Illinois medical license; facility will not wait for licensure; DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient internal medicine care for an older Medicare-heavy panel.
• No procedures required; management of chronic conditions (diabetes, HTN, hyperlipidemia).
• Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; no weekend shifts; 16–18 patients per day.
