Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a central Arizona cancer center to provide locum tenens Hematologist-Oncologist coverage. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with no call and a daily volume of 23–25 patients. The role combines 50% oncology and 50% hematology, supported by a team of 4 physicians, 4 APPs, 6 MAs, 10 RNs, and 6 schedulers, using Epic EMR.

Board certification is required. We cover travel and lodging, licensing/credentialing support, and offer dedicated recruitment

Qualifications

• Board-certified in hematology/oncology.
• Active AZ medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient consults and follow-ups.
• Support 50% oncology and 50% hematology duties.
• Coordinate care with a team of physicians, APPs, RNs, and schedulers.
