Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a cancer center in central Arizona to provide locum tenens coverage for a Hematologist Oncologist. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 8a-5p, with no call and a daily volume of 23-25 patients. The role is split 50% oncology and 50% hematology, with Epic EMR in use.

The assignment supports a team consisting of 4 physicians, 4 APPs, 6 MAs, 10 RNs, and 6 schedulers, with travel and lodging provided and licensing/credentialing assistance available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Hematology/Oncology.
• Experience with locum tenens is a plus.
• Proficient with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient consults and follow-ups.
• Provide 50% oncology and 50% hematology care.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
