CompHealth is seeking a hospital-based anesthesiology assignment in Birmingham, AL. The role includes performing nerve blocks and regional anesthesia across a wide variety of procedures with a Monday–Friday 7 am–3 pm schedule, extending to 5 pm on some days. No call involvement on both weekdays and weekends.

There is an option to transition to a permanent position. The assignment includes weekly pay, complimentary housing and travel, comprehensive malpractice coverage, and streamlined

Qualifications

• Nerve blocks and regional anesthesia required
• Hospital-based anesthesiology clinical duties
• Experience with a wide variety of procedures (vascular, robotics, OB/GYN, ortho, neuro) is implied by scope

Responsabilités

• Provide anesthesia care for hospital procedures
• Perform nerve blocks and regional anesthesia
• Cover a Mon–Fri schedule from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with some days extending to 5:00 pm
• No call involvement on weekday or weekend
• Option to transition to a permanent position
• Coordinate credentialing and privileging with the facility
