Job summary

Georgetown, SC-based locum tenens opportunity for an MD or DO board-certified in Anatomic Pathology. Focus on surgical pathology and cytology with no autopsy responsibilities and a broad anatomic pathology case mix.

Schedule is full-time weekday coverage with daytime shifts, one-hour lunch break, and no on-call requirements. Lodging and rental car are provided within limits; airfare is not included. Immediate start date (ASAP) with Curative as the employer.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology required.
• Active state medical license required; BLS and DEA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gross and microscopic evaluation of biopsy and surgical specimens.
• Cytology including Pap smears, FNAs, and body fluids.
• Frozen section interpretation.
• Bone marrow and lymph node evaluation experience preferred.
