Job summary

Ponte Family Estate Winery, located in Temecula's wine country, seeks a Weddings & Events Coordinator II to drive wedding and event sales and coordination, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded.

The role focuses on converting inquiries into bookings, managing deposits and payments, and coordinating details with on-site teams. Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends is required; compensation starts at $26/hour plus commissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of wedding sales and coordinating experience.
• Experience selling weddings, function space and food & beverage.
• Strong knowledge of sales principles in hospitality.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close contracts.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and respond to inquiries for weddings and events.
• Convert inquiries into committed bookings via site visits, tours, and proactive communication.
• Manage deposits, progress payments, and final payments per contract.
• Assist in planning other departments' events as needed under supervision.
• Maintain relationships with internal departments to ensure seamless events.
• Attend sales meetings and event order meetings; provide post-event surveys.
• Train new coordinators and administrative staff as required.
