Job summary

Walters Wedding Estates in Lago Vista, TX is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hospitality team. You will set up the bar, mix drinks to venue recipes, and deliver friendly, efficient service to guests and servers during events.

The role requires at least 1 year of bartending experience, Texas TABC and Food Handler licenses, the ability to lift 30 lbs, and weekend/holiday availability. This part-time position offers tips and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of bartending or similar hospitality role.
• Texas TABC and Food Handlers licenses required.
• Physical ability to lift 30 lbs and stand 8–12 hours.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; E-Verify participation.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar and ensure it is fully equipped for mixing beverages and serving guests.
• Ensure the bar has correct alcohol and quantities ordered.
• Fully comply with TABC procedures for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Interact with customers, take drink orders.
• Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages according to venue recipes.
• Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and, if needed, refuse further service politely.
• Maintain liquor inventory and report remaining stock at shift end.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Break down the bar and clean the work station; take out trash, wipe counters, mop floor.
