Job summary

Walters Hospitality is seeking Bartenders to work at weddings and events. You will set up and stock the bar, mix drinks, serve guests, and ensure compliance with all safety and Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) guidelines.

You’ll interact with guests, take orders, and help maintain inventory while upholding high standards of hospitality. Candidates should have at least 1 year of bartending experience, hold a TABC license and a Food Handler license in Texas, and be eligible to work in

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred.
• TABC license and Food Handlers license required in Texas.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; E-Verify participation by Walters Hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar and ensure it is equipped for mixing beverages and serving guests.
• Interact with customers and take drink orders.
• Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages per venue recipes.
• Comply with TABC procedures for serving alcohol.
• Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and politely refuse further service.
• Maintain liquor inventory and report remaining alcohol at end of shift.
• Break down the bar and clean the workspace, including trash, counters and floors.

This position requires someone who maintains positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner.What You’ll Do:Set-Up the bar and ensure that it is fully equipped with the tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.Ensure the bar is set with the correct alcohol and quantities ordered.Fully comply with TABC procedures for serving alcoholic beverages.Interact with customers, take orders for drinks.Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with venue recipes.Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations.Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and if required refusing any further serving in a polite way. Keep management informed.Maintain liquor inventory by counting and reporting the remaining alcohol at the end of the shift.Comply with all food and beverage regulationsBreak down the bar and clean the work station.
