WEBTOON Entertainment Inc. is seeking a Creator Operations Strategist in Los Angeles to grow and manage relationships with its creator ecosystem, while shaping operational strategies and leveraging AI to boost efficiency.

You will collaborate across Entertainment, Publishing, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to scale creator initiatives. The role blends relationship management, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional execution for a fast-paced digital media environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in the creator economy, digital media, entertainment, publishing, talent management, partnerships, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing relationships with creators, talent, partners, clients, or other external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the creator economy and evolving business models for digital creators.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong data literacy and comfort using metrics and insights to inform decisions.
• Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and proactively improve processes.
• Empathy, judgment, and interpersonal skills in sensitive creator contexts.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of WEBTOON creators, serving as a trusted point of contact throughout their creator lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships by understanding creators’ goals, needs, challenges, and business priorities.
• Support onboarding, ongoing relationship management, development opportunities, and offboarding.
• Proactively identify creator concerns, opportunities, and retention risks and coordinate with internal teams to address them.
• Help creators navigate opportunities across WEBTOON’s IP ecosystem, including entertainment, publishing, licensing, and merchandise.
• Own day-to-day operational processes that support creators and the Creator Management team.
• Coordinate creator communications, newsletters, surveys, office hours, training opportunities, and other creator-facing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate creator records, databases, workflows, and documentation across internal systems.
• Identify operational gaps and develop solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, and the creator experience.
• Use creator performance, engagement, retention, and other metrics to identify trends and action areas.
• Support creator segmentation, prioritization, and performance frameworks, translating insights into recommendations.
• Partner with Entertainment, Publishing, Consumer Goods, Content, Finance, Legal, Rights Management, Marketing and other teams.
• Facilitate clear communication and alignment between creators and internal stakeholders.
• Track ongoing creator opportunities and projects to ensure visibility and follow-up.
• Represent Creator Management in cross-functional projects needing creator perspective.
• Leverage AI to improve workflows, research, reporting, and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes with human oversight.
• Stay informed on creator economy, AI, digital media, and creator tools.

As a Creator Operations Strategist, you will support WEBTOON’s efforts to grow, and manage relationships with its creator community who have partnerships with our external business. Reporting to the Director, Creator Management, you will manage an assigned portfolio of creators while also supporting broader initiatives that strengthen the creator experience and help scale the Creator Management function.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends creator relationship management, operations, data-driven strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has experience in the creator economy, digital media, entertainment, publishing, or a related industry, a strong understanding of creators and their business needs and a demonstrated ability to leverage technology and AI to work more efficiently and strategically.

What You'll Do

Creator Relationship Management

• Manage an assigned portfolio of WEBTOON creators, serving as a trusted point of contact throughout their creator lifecycle.
• Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding creators’ individual goals, needs, challenges, and business priorities.
• Support creators through onboarding, ongoing relationship management, development opportunities, and offboarding.
• Proactively identify creator concerns, opportunities, and retention risks and coordinate with internal teams to address them.
• Help creators navigate opportunities across WEBTOON’s broader IP ecosystem, including entertainment, publishing, licensing, and merchandise.

Creator Operations & Strategy

• Own day-to-day operational processes that support creators and the broader Creator Management team.
• Coordinate creator communications, newsletters, surveys, office hours, training opportunities, and other creator-facing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate creator records, databases, workflows, and documentation across internal systems.
• Identify operational gaps and develop solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, and the overall creator experience.
• Use creator performance, engagement, retention, and other relevant metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Entertainment, Publishing, Consumer Goods, Content, Finance, Legal, Rights Management, Marketing, and other internal teams to support creator needs and opportunities.
• Facilitate clear communication and alignment between creators and internal stakeholders.
• Track ongoing creator opportunities and projects to ensure appropriate visibility, follow-up, and support.
• Represent Creator Management in cross-functional projects and initiatives where creator expertise and perspective are required.

AI & Innovation

• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve Creator Management workflows, research, communication, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to automate or streamline repetitive processes while maintaining appropriate human oversight and creator-focused judgment.
• Stay informed on developments across the creator economy, AI, digital media, and emerging creator tools and platforms.

Your Background

• 3–5+ years of experience in the creator economy, digital media, entertainment, publishing, talent management, partnerships, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing relationships with creators, talent, partners, clients, or other external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the creator economy and the evolving business models, opportunities, and challenges facing digital creators.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong data literacy and comfort using metrics and insights to inform decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and proactively improve processes.
• Strong empathy, judgment, and interpersonal skills, particularly when navigating sensitive creator concerns or complex situations.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Interest in and practical experience with AI tools, including using AI to improve productivity, research, analysis, communication, and workflows.
• Genuine passion for creators, storytelling, digital content, and the broader creator ecosystem.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Experience working directly with webcomic, comic, YouTube, social media, gaming, or other digital creators.
• Experience in creator/talent management, entertainment development, publishing, licensing, or IP management.
• Experience developing or improving creator-facing programs, processes, or communications.
• Experience with tools such as Airtable, Zendesk, CRM platforms, or similar operational systems.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI and emerging technology to meaningfully improve business workflows.

Salary Range and Description

$70,000 - $85,000 / annually
