Job summary

Hazel Park Schools is seeking a part-time Lunch Paraprofessional for Webster Early Childhood Center. The role is a ten-month position, not to exceed 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday when students are in attendance.

The incumbent will supervise students during breakfast and lunch, monitor behavior, and assist with duties as assigned by the building principal. Excellent communication and public relations skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students at breakfast and lunch, circulate around the cafeteria tables.
• Supervise students outside or inside during breakfast and lunch recess time.
• Supervise students returning to class.
• Other tasks as requested during the breakfast and lunch period.
• Assist with other breakfast and lunch assistants' responsibilities as needed.
• Complete student accident reports as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of work related information
• Perform all assigned tasks in a prompt and professional manner.
• Act in the best interest of the school district.

• Work schedule will be normal schedule as provided for in the Master Agreement.
