Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms following procedures.
• Dust and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Replace light bulbs and refill restroom dispensers.
• Assist with room setups for meetings, classrooms, and events.
• Strip, buff, and finish hard floors; vacuum carpets.
• Operate cleaning equipment (buffers, scrubbers, extractors, vacuums).
• Lock/unlock buildings and secure facilities after hours.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.09 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our custodial team for a full time position. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms following established procedures
• Dust and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers
• Replace light bulbs and refill restroom dispensers
• Assist with room setups for meetings, classrooms, and events
• Strip, buff, and apply finish to hard surface floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and vacuums
• Wash walls and equipment; use ladders as needed
• Lock and unlock buildings; ensure facilities are secured when not in use

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
• TB test clearance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
