Location: Remote

Salary Range: $115,000–$165,000 Annually

The successful candidate will apply practical expertise in IBM WebSphere Application Server, JVM tuning, clustering, application deployments, middleware security, and troubleshooting, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions through the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business and technical requirements and document current-state and target-state processes.
• Configure, develop, integrate, or administer the enterprise platform within approved design standards.
• Coordinate interfaces, data conversion, reporting, security, and process dependencies.
• Plan and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Support deployments, user adoption, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Experience Required: typically 4+ years in a related professional role; exact threshold must match the approved requisition.
• Practical experience with the role-specific technology stack: IBM WebSphere Application Server, JVM tuning, clustering, application deployments, middleware security, and troubleshooting.
• Experience implementing, developing, administering, or supporting the enterprise platform identified in the job title.
• Strong understanding of relevant business processes and the platform’s core capabilities.
• Experience gathering requirements, configuring or developing solutions, and documenting decisions.
• Knowledge of integrations, data flows, testing, and production support.
• Ability to work with business users, technical teams, and external partners.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional hands-on depth in IBM WebSphere Application Server, JVM tuning, clustering, application deployments, middleware security, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud services, automation, and modern delivery practices relevant to the project.
• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the role’s technology area.
