webMethods Developer
Our client is seeking an experienced webMethods Developer to support the implementation of multiple high-impact projects through the development of web service APIs and platform integrations. The ideal candidate will bring senior-level expertise with Software AG’s webMethods tools, and including cloud-based solutions.

This role is fully remote to candidates residing around the Sacramento, California area. Working in a remote-first environment following a brief onsite orientation.

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integrations using the webMethods integration platform.
• Leverage tools such as Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, and webMethods.IO to support capital project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure seamless integration across systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for integration solutions, including specifications and test plans.
• Conduct thorough testing using tools like wM Test Suite and assist with troubleshooting and debugging efforts.
• Participate in virtual meetings and provide timely updates on development progress and challenges.

webMethods Developer Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing with the webMethods integration platform.
• Strong working knowledge of the webMethods.IO SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in related technologies including Java service development, EDI/TN, and testing frameworks.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with reliable internet connectivity.

Compensation: $60-$70/hr. (DOE)
