A state government is seeking a Webmaster to manage its website content and technical operations. The ideal candidate will ensure website security, comply with ADA standards, and optimize performance. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and five years of experience are required. Remote work options may be available after initial training.
Under the direction of the Graphic Artist IV, the Webmaster will manage website content and technical operations, including design, maintenance, security, and user experience, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of computer technology; of programming languages; of ADA accessibility standards; of coding processes and security measures; of specific agency functions and business needs; of changes in computer technology and specific applications systems; and of laws, rules and regulations affecting the business needs of the organization. Ability is required to review and translate specifications; to develop and use appropriate testing protocols; and to review and analyze user requests and other information.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, web design, web development, or information assurance, and five years of professional experience.

The selected applicant must pass a background check. Individuals may be required to pursue NAIC designations as job duties require.
This position may be eligible for telework each week under OID’s Telework Program after initial training.
