Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a talented WebLogic Developer to join our Citizens Security & Public Services and Federal Reserves Banks team. This position is remote.

What you’ll do:

The WebLogic Developer will:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in WebLogic, providing project planning and technical support to application developers and business owners.
• Be the primary contact for WebLogic products throughout the application lifecycle.
• Ensure WebLogic readiness compliance and propose architectural solutions for high availability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and update migration schedules and communicate effectively.
• Handle complex troubleshooting across various software platforms.
• Support off-hours and weekend activities as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience or a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years of experience.
• Experience installing and configuring WebLogic on Solaris/Linux/Windows.
• Ability to install, optimize, and troubleshoot WebLogic and related products.
• Experience working with developers to design, develop, and implement data warehouse procedures.
• Ability to document application modifications and update operational manuals.
• Experience in installing, clustering, performance tuning, and troubleshooting application servers.
• WebLogic architecture expertise including design, administration, and integration.
• Experience deploying applications on WebLogic in shared hosting environments.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services, and Web infrastructure deployment.
• Knowledge of UNIX, Shell Scripting, and server administration (AIX/Linux/Windows).
• Strong understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP troubleshooting, and internet protocols (DNS, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP).
• Familiarity with web products like OHS.
