Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a dynamic Crane Operator to join our heavy civil team in Florida. You will oversee crane fleet, coordinate assembly and disassembly, and support planning and forecasting of crane needs on projects.

The ideal candidate is a Certified Crane Operator or has 5 years of related experience, with a valid driver's license and strong organizational and communication skills. This role involves outdoor work on construction sites and lifting up to 50 pounds, with

Qualifications

  • Certified Crane Operator or five years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license is required. The position requires successful completion of a motor vehicle report check.
  • Effective organization and communication skills, strong people skills.
  • Move throughout a construction jobsite including ladders, heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Work outdoors with varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage crane schedule and produce weekly crane report; monitor utilization and forecast needs for operations.
  • Coordinate all moves, assembly and disassembly.
  • Assist with crane requests and identify proper size and tonnage.
  • Visually inspect cranes for proper maintenance; check all functions with operators.
  • Perform jobsite inspections.
  • Liaison with field operations.
  • Record keeping for repairs and inspections.
  • Review lift plans as needed.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation
