Job Description

Our client is looking for a Web Software Engineer Localization. They would like to add a team member to help build, develop and support their mobile applications for their global markets (localization).

Responsibilities

• Launch new localized versions of their web site for multiple global markets.
• Add features and localize the site and app experience to optimize for particular markets.
• Enhance internationalization and localization.
• Enable promotions that encourage targeted local language content creation.
• Proficiency working in all aspects of their web architecture, infrastructure and codebase.
• Work on high performance client-side programming, optimizing back-end business logic, scalable services and data storage. They also improve the mobile experience, both web and native app.
• Work closely with product and design teams to define feature specifications.
• Design complex systems and lead the technical solution of projects.
• Touch code at every level – from UI, to the servlets and backend services, down to the database and Hadoop.
• Develop, deploy and maintain the consumer-facing features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO Design.
• Web and mobile applications development experience.
• Experience with high-volume web applications preferred.
