Jobot in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Web Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain Heidelberg, Goss, digital and commercial web presses to ensure high-quality print production and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on press experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Web Press Operator in manufacturing with Heidelberg, Goss, Digital and Commercial web presses.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to troubleshoot equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with team members and other departments.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in web press operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Heidelberg, Goss web press, Digital press, and Commercial web press machines, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in print production.
• Perform routine press maintenance, including cleaning and troubleshooting, to ensure optimal performance and prevent malfunctions.
• Monitor print runs to verify conformity with job specifications and make necessary adjustments for color, position, and overall print quality.
• Coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and meet production deadlines.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Continually seek ways to improve print quality and production efficiency, staying updated on industry trends and advancements in web press technology.

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with further training or certification in web press operation being a plus.
