Job description

Position Overview:

Animal Health is seeking an experienced Marketing Copywriter to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is pivotal in creating and refining marketing content within the highly regulated European marketplace of animal health pharmaceuticals. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to develop compelling copy that adheres to industry standards while effectively communicating our brand message.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and produce high-quality marketing content for our upcoming website relaunch, ensuring compliance with European regulatory guidelines pertinent to the animal health and pharmaceutical sectors.
  2. Revise and enhance existing content to improve clarity, engagement, and alignment with our strategic objectives and brand voice.
  3. Conduct thorough research on scientific and medical terminology relevant to animal health to ensure accuracy and credibility in all written materials.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory affairs and marketing, to ensure all content meets legal and compliance requirements.
  5. Participate in content strategy discussions, contributing insights based on industry trends and best practices in medical marketing.
  6. Proofread and edit materials to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and adherence to established style guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter in animal health, pharmaceutical, or other medical/scientific industries, with strong technical writing ability.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory considerations in marketing communications within a global context.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and content management systems (CMS) is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with web design tools and CMS such as Figma, WordPress, etc.
  • Written fluency in European languages: French, German, Spanish, etc.
  • Experience with Veeva Promo Mats content management platform.

Note: This is a fully remote opportunity. Candidates from EST and CST time zones are preferred, as most work will involve collaboration with the EU manager/market.
