Job summary

B&H Photo Video is seeking a Web Imaging Specialist to ensure SKUs have high-quality images that meet strict specifications. You will edit images using Photoshop, resize and color-correct, and upload assets to the B&H website in line with brand standards.

The role requires researching suitable images, communicating with manufacturers, and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines. Previous experience with Photoshop and MS Office is preferred, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Edit and crop product images with a clean white background to showcase features.
• Research and upload images for SKUs with accuracy and adherence to style guidelines.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers to obtain images efficiently.
• Locate, review and upload product manuals and videos according to guidelines.
• Team lead responsibilities may include QC reviews and handling higher-priority embargoes.

Job Overview:

Web Imaging Specialist ensures that all assigned SKUs have images populated according to the required specifications, specifically clear and accurate portrayal of the product and its unique features. Utilizing Photoshop and other resources, each image is edited to be of superior quality according to B&H professional standards.

• Conducts research to gather images in accordance with team guidelines and upload them to B&H Website with complete accuracy and adherence to B&H style.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners by maintaining relationships with manufacturers to obtain images more efficiently.
• Prioritizes workflow and acquires accurate and optimal images for assigned product SKUs.
• Modifies images and resolves image bugs using Photoshop in order to conform to B&H superior standards
• Edit and crop images to display the product on a clean white background and spotlight the product's unique features.
• Responsible to locate, review and upload product manuals and videos as per B&H guidelines

Additional Responsibilities:

Additional Responsibilities as assigned by manager as needed, supported by extra skills and experience in excess to regular responsibilities. These can include:

Team lead at meetings, QC team review, High Priority Embargoes, or other additional responsibilities based on knowledge and skills.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Expert knowledge of Photoshop to edit, resize, sharpen, correct color, and further enhance images.
• Basic knowledge of assigned categories of products.
• Ability to conduct research and communicate with others efficiently using email.
• Basic proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Adaptable to learn new technologies and ability to adapt quickly to new tools and workflows
• Detail oriented and organizational skills

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

Minimum 2-5 years experience using with Photoshop
