Job summary

Mittera Creative + Tech in Pineville, NC seeks an experienced Web First Press Operator to join our production team. This leadership role guides the press crew to meet productivity, quality and safety goals while operating web press machines.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years on multicolor web presses, can train teammates, and maintains equipment with a focus on reliability. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential, as are a self-motivated, safety‑minded mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator.
• Ability to lead and foster growth on the team.
• Knowledgeable of press setup and maintenance procedures.
• Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Must be self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain web presses and all auxiliary equipment.
• Guide crew to meet and exceed production standards.
• Responsible for the ongoing training and development of team.
• Promote, enforce and sustain safety and look for ways to improve the operation.
• Assist Supervisors in providing feedback for employee evaluations.
• Facilitate teamwork on crews and between shifts.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are followed.
• Performs routine and preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
