Scheels in Springfield, IL is hiring for a seasonal associate position. Compensation starts at $15.00 per hour with a typical schedule of 15–25 hours per week, including daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Collect and organize products to complete orders from assigned lists.
• Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping.
• Understand brands, shops, and internal inventory systems.
• Execute project work plans to complete the task on time, and revise as needed.
• Communicate with leadership and other team members to resolve problems or questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Effectively communicate with all associates.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

An ideal candidate will have a minimum of a High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED); one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of both.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation

Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
