Job summary
The People Brand in Compton, CA is seeking a Web Developer to own the development, optimization, and health of our digital ecosystem. You will build and maintain the corporate website, landing pages, and CMS infrastructure while improving UX, performance, SEO, accessibility, and conversion rates.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, collaborating with marketing, product management, sales, and creative teams to deliver online experiences that drive awareness,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Web Development, Digital Media, or related field.
- 5+ years of front-end web development experience.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive design.
- Experience with BigCommerce, HubSpot CMS or similar CMS.
- Experience implementing SEO and website analytics.
- Strong UX/UI understanding.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards.
- Experience with site performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the company’s website and digital properties.
- Build pages, landing pages, microsites and interactive experiences.
- Manage and optimize the CMS environment and performance.
- Implement responsive, mobile-first designs across devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to realize digital experiences.
- Identify opportunities to improve user journeys and conversions.
- Conduct A/B testing and apply data-driven improvements.
- Monitor analytics, track KPIs, and report performance.
- Ensure accessibility and WCAG compliance across properties.
- Coordinate with external partners for development work.
