Web Developer, Senior

The Opportunity:

You know that a good websiteis more than just the code, infrastructure, and a nice-looking interface - it's the way it addresses a user's needs. As a lead experience designer, you can put yourself in the user's place and design the best way for them to interact with the site. We're looking for someone creative like you to oversee the creation of an ultimate user experience.

In this role, you'll partner with the product manager on your team to understand your clients' vision and their users' needs. Leading an Agile team, you'll broaden the scope of your design skills by developing large-scale digital experiences that are as intuitive as they are aesthetically pleasing.

You'll lead the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development. Your UI and development expertise will help your team advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements, all the while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.

You Have:

  • Experience in visual design

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Front End Architecture, InVision, Sketch, User Experience Design (UX), User Interface Design, User Interface Prototyping, Web Design, and Web Development

  • Experience with delivering, supporting, and marketing the design components of communications strategies to the federal government

  • Experience with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and interface design

  • Knowledge of front-end development

  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in working directly with clients

  • Experience with brand development

  • Experience with creating infographics

  • Knowledge of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards

  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
