Responsibilities

Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide support and maintenance Services for existingALSDE
• Development of new website features and functionality asdefined by
• Remediate PDF documents, Word files, Excel spreadsheets, andPowerPoint presentations to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and PDF/UAstandards.
• Perform any other closely related professional servicestypically associated with website development, maintenance, andsupport, including but not limited to activities such as

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of current developments in InformationTechnology
• Strong working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA, PDF/UA (ISO 14289),Section 508, and ADA Title II requirements as they apply toelectronic documents and forms.
• Knowledge of how to remediate PDF documents, Word files, Excelspreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AAand PDF/UA standards.
• Documented experience in the use of Microsoft developmentsystems, i.e., JavaScript, HTML
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapidprototyping
• Knowledge of Adobe products (e.g. Acrobat Pro, Photoshop,InDesign)
• Microsoft Word (styles, headings, alt text, reading order)
