Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional web, application, or software development experience.
• Experience with both front-end and back-end development.
• Experience developing and deploying mobile applications for iOS and/or Android.
• Experience managing mobile applications through production releases, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies, including EC2, S3, CloudFormation, or similar services.
• Experience with WordPress, including custom themes/templates.
• Understanding of web hosting, DNS, server environments, and application deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage projects while communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

A client of Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Web Developer & Digital Lead to build, deploy, and maintain web and mobile applications while supporting the broader digital environment.

This role is ideal for a versatile developer who can work across front-end and back-end development, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and websites. You’ll own projects from concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance while collaborating with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Web & Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web and mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations.
• Translate business and client requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve application performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Develop and maintain mobile applications throughout the full application lifecycle.
• Publish and manage applications in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Manage application updates, version releases, compliance requirements, and ongoing maintenance.

Websites & Content Management

• Develop and maintain websites using WordPress and other CMS platforms.
• Build and modify custom themes, templates, and PHP functionality.
• Manage website updates, plugins, performance, accessibility, SEO, and security.
• Support AWS environments, including EC2, S3, CloudFormation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage hosting environments, DNS, SSL certificates, servers, backups, and related infrastructure.
• Maintain deployment workflows and support cloud scalability and security.

Digital & Technical Support

• Partner with creative, marketing, and client-facing teams on digital experiences, landing pages, campaigns, and engagement tools.
• Support analytics, tracking, and HTML email initiatives.
• Maintain internal technology systems, platform subscriptions, documentation, and security updates.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional web, application, or software development experience.
