Tempest Interactive Media in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a passionate Web Developer. You will work with our support, delivery and account services teams to update and develop new website features for destinations across North America.

Most projects are built on Craft CMS and integrate with APIs and other tools. You should be comfortable collaborating with distributed teams, eager to learn, and ready to help expand our clients' digital experiences.

Qualifications

• 5 years of web development experience; agency experience preferred.
• Ability to write clean semantic HTML5 and respect web standards.
• Experience with Craft CMS or similar CMS (ExpressionEngine, WordPress, Drupal).
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS.
• Familiarity with source control and modern tooling (Git, Vite, CLI).
• Understanding accessibility and ADA compliance in websites.
• Experience using AI-powered coding assistants to improve efficiency and code quality.
• Experience consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for assets and visuals.

Responsibilities

• Update Craft CMS websites with the support and delivery teams.
• Troubleshoot client site issues and implement fixes.
• Integrate 3rd party tools and APIs into client sites.
• Develop new client websites and features.
• Maintain and improve site performance.
• Provide scope and hour estimates for client requests.
• Communicate status to the Web Development Director and team.
• Document work clearly and maintain guides.
