Job summary

AERMOR is seeking a Web Developer to support application development, web architecture, and data-driven solutions for NSWC PCD. The position requires expertise in C#, T-SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint, and modern development environments to enhance and maintain digital platforms.

Ideal candidates will have AI writing/training experience, object-based design skills, and proficiency in MVC and UI/UX design principles. Security+ or higher clearance is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Must have security+ certification or higher.
• Proficiency in C# and Microsoft’s Open Source Development Language.
• Experience with SharePoint Designer and Site Collection Administration Certification.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, Web Services, Web Publishing, and Web Design Principles.
• Experience in SharePoint development using the SharePoint Object Model (2007 or 2010).
• .NET development for SharePoint Web Parts and ADO.NET SQL Server development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expertise in MVC design methodologies.
• Knowledge of Object-Based Design and Interface Implementation.
• Experience with Human Factors & GUI Design.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID design principles.
• Three or more years of experience with JavaScript or its variants.
• Experience with SQL, T-SQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and DB2.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and document applications for scientific and commercial projects.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain NSWC PCD internal and external web pages.
• Implement additional functionalities and capabilities to improve web applications.
• Maintain content accuracy, update contributors on submission standards, and ensure web compliance.
• Conduct routine website maintenance, including removal of stale pages and elimination of faulty URL links.
• Develop applications in C#, T-SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and SharePoint.
• Utilize Microsoft’s Open Development Platform (.NET environment) for development.
• Work with Jira for bug tracking, issue tracking, and agile project management.
• Utilize SQL Management Studio and Azure Cloud Studio for database management.
• Manage Git-based repositories using BitBucket.
• Implement AI-based writing and training models in development processes.
• Analyze and integrate AI tools into data-driven applications and web platforms.
