Job summary

Feedinkoo is seeking a Web Developer to build modern web applications using HTML, CSS (SCSS) and React with TypeScript. You will maintain and enhance existing pages, handling content updates and new pages while collaborating with UX and backend teams.

You’ll work on responsive interfaces for diverse devices, focus on accessibility and performance, and contribute to a living style guide. A degree and openness to learning are required.

Qualifications

  • Experience building modern web apps with HTML/CSS/SCSS and JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, SCSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with JavaScript component libraries and React.
  • Experience with TypeScript in production code.
  • Proficiency in responsive UI design for multiple devices and browsers.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Awareness of SEO best practices and accessibility.
  • Focus on web performance in complex UIs.
  • Ability to collaborate with UX designers and backend developers.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tech.
  • Based in EMEA time zones.
  • University degree or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

  • Create high fidelity websites and web apps using HTML, CSS (SCSS) and React/TypeScript.
  • Maintain existing projects by updating content and adding new pages.
  • Manage incoming update requests and liaise with teammates as needed.
  • Ensure output quality and consistency across the product portfolio.
  • Publish new pages per spec and in line with the style guide.
  • Participate in and contribute to the Vanilla Framework living style guide.
  • Collaborate closely with UX and visual designers to deliver great user experiences.

Required skills and experience
  • Demonstrable experience of work on modern web applications

In this team
  • You’ll create high fidelity websites and web apps using the latest incarnations of HTML, CSS (SCSS) and Javascript (React and TypeScript)
  • You’ll help maintain existing projects including updating content and adding new pages
  • You’ll manage incoming requests for updates and liaise with or delegate to other people as necessary
  • You’ll ensure the standard of our output remains high and consistent across our whole product portfolio
  • You’ll ensure new pages are published according to specification and in compliance with our web style guide
  • You’ll participate in and contribute to our living style guide, Vanilla Framework.
  • Work closely with UX designers and visual designers to implement exemplary user experiences.
