About The Role

We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team at Sierra. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience across our core product interfaces and customer-facing web pages. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain high-quality, cohesive frontend features that align with our brand standards and enhance user engagement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product management to implement features that support our growth objectives and improve overall performance. Additionally, you will play a key role in building content infrastructure, supporting localization efforts, and ensuring our digital presence remains fast, accessible, and user-friendly.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in frontend development with experience working on marketing or growth-oriented websites. Proficiency in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (or similar frameworks) is essential, along with a keen eye for UI/UX design and detail-oriented craftsmanship. Experience working with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity, and familiarity with structured content models, will be highly valued. A deep understanding of performance optimization, accessibility standards, and internationalization processes is required. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with non-engineering teams—such as content creators, designers, and marketers—are crucial. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine commitment to delivering high-performance, accessible, and inclusive digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and maintenance of frontend features across our product and marketing platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Design and implement content infrastructure using Sanity CMS, enabling content and marketing teams to manage and publish content independently with structured models, preview, and staging workflows.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and operations teams to integrate analytics and experimentation tools, translating business goals into measurable features and insights.
• Support and enhance localization and internationalization efforts, ensuring multilingual content and translation workflows are efficient and effective.
• Prioritize performance as a core feature by managing Core Web Vitals, optimizing media assets, diagnosing layout shifts, and ensuring fast load times across all devices.
• Champion accessibility standards by implementing semantic markup, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, and designing WCAG-compliant components to make our platform usable for everyone.
