Job summary

Quicken Inc. is seeking a front-end engineer to craft catalog browsing, search, filtering, and checkout experiences for our personal finance software suite.

You will collaborate with Product, Design and Backend teams to connect front-end code with APIs, optimize for performance, and ensure a seamless user experience across devices. We value strong communication, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for building scalable, accessible interfaces.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional web development experience.
• Hands-on experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, or Svelte).
• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling asynchronous data (fetch, promises, async/await).
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.

Job Summary

Note – this is a contract to hire role ranging $53-$58/hour. Upon conversion after three months, this position's expected base pay range is $110,240 - $120,640.

Responsibilities

• Develop catalog browsing, search, filtering, product detail, cart, and checkout experiences.

• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, while applying sound engineering judgment to validate results.

• Experience with ecommerce or catalog-style applications is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to all audiences.

Quicken is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The actual salary offered is determined by factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to years and depth of experience, relevant skills, and work location. This position's expected base pay range is $155,000 - $172,500.
