The position includes building pages with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, using WordPress or Drupal, with a focus on accessibility, SEO and usability. Expect collaborative marketing and e-commerce projects.

Gate3 is hiring a Web Designer/Developer for a hybrid role based in Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. This position blends visual design, UX thinking, and front-end development so you can craft engaging digital experiences that are accessible, responsive, and built to perform. If you enjoy turning layouts and ideas into working websites and improving user experience using real data, you’ll have room to contribute across design, build, and ongoing optimization.

Compensation: $33.57 - $40.43 per hour (USD). Expected hours: 40.0 per week.

What You’ll Do

• Design page layouts, interfaces, logos, and motion graphics, and create wireframes and prototypes to support review and feedback cycles.
• Build and update websites and related digital content using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal.
• Apply responsive web design, web accessibility, SEO, and usability practices throughout production.
• Maintain website content and functionality, using analytics and data analysis to spot opportunities to improve the experience.
• Collaborate on digital marketing and email projects, including e-commerce and campaign content.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated web design and development skills covering visual design, interaction design, typography, information architecture, and front-end development.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, website maintenance, accessibility in interaction design, and responsive design.
