Job summary

GoIntellects Inc. is seeking a Drupal Web Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance Drupal-driven web applications. This role focuses on secure, high‑performing sites built on Drupal 9/10/11, collaborating with designers, editors, and IT leadership.

You will implement modules, themes, content types, views, and integrations while ensuring accessibility, security, and performance. The position is onsite in Washington, DC with a strong emphasis on code quality and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5+ years of experience developing with Drupal (including Drupal 9/10/11).
Strong proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
Experience with Composer, Drush, Git, and modern development workflows.
Knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB and database optimization.
Experience with cloud hosting platforms (Acquia, Pantheon, AWS, Azure).
Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG), security best practices, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and maintain websites using the latest versions of Drupal (9/10/11).
Build custom modules, themes, and integrations following Drupal best practices.
Implement and maintain content types, views, taxonomies, blocks, and menus.
Ensure code quality through version control, peer reviews, and adherence to coding standards (Drupal Coding Standards, PSR‑4, Composer workflows).
Perform regular updates, security patches, and module upgrades.
Troubleshoot and resolve site issues, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility problems.
Optimize websites for speed, accessibility (WCAG 2.1+), SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
Maintain documentation for configurations, custom code, and deployment processes.
Build and maintain integrations with third‑party systems (REST, API, GraphQL, SSO, CRM, payment gateways, etc.).
Work with cloud hosting environments (Acquia, Pantheon, AWS, Azure) to deploy and manage Drupal applications.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement modern, user‑friendly interfaces.
Partner with content editors to improve workflows, permissions, and editorial experience.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).
Provide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
